Bird Blobs are wading through the same freaky, angry, discordant swamp-blues once favored by the likes of fellow Australians The Birthday Party, The Scientists and The Beasts Of Bourbon.
Spawned in Tasmania’s musical wilderness, incubated in Melbourne’s seedy rock underbelly and now unleashed upon the world, Bird Blobs have already played at All Tomorrow’s Parties and toured the States and UK. Watch out, they’re coming to get you.

yes the bird blobs are the best thing since vegemite and beerguts.
i saw the last gig before their tour to nyc. it was fantastic; but it's alas it's all over now... i heard they are no longer a band :(
it's a sad world.
Bird Blobs guys have a couple different projects going now: Coconuts and Bogan Dust. Bogan Dust is playing Cakeshop on December 20th, that's Thursday on the Lower East Side of NYC.
