The Kinks

Here's another old Mojo magazine CD post. This post is from the March 2006 issue which (amongst other things) looks at the history of The Kinks and Ray Davies.

Yo La Tengo have played gigs with Ray Davies and even recorded as his backing band. They have also recorded a few cover versions of Davies/Kinks songs in their 20+ years

No, I suspect 'The Wife' will never be the same again. She's more of a nodding acquaintance now with the 'decree nisi' in the post. Like when dads pick their sadly estranged kids up from her/your house on a Sunday to take them to McDonalds, and she says, "Make sure you have them back by 9 ... then you can go back to your bloody fancy woman".
Shame really. I did love her once.
